Blog Manager
Writing under the pen of stargardener, the editor and author of Rural Business Development is devoted to living a Spirit-filled life as she utilizes her expertise in advocacy and marketing management. An entrepreneur at heart, she was self-employed through college and earned a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Psychology. Starting her first business venture at the age of 18, she went on to serve on staff for the U.S. Senate as well as working on numerous political campaigns.
Her education and training also includes: MBA coursework, with a focus on women in business and economic development in rural communities; board member for service and community organizations; women’s ministry service and career development programs; certified training and service as a hospice volunteer; and coursework at Scope Ministries International.
Additionally, she is experienced in the varied aspects of: microbusiness management, community development and legislative advocacy; Web site development and management; editing and graphic design. (And in a tad obsessive about the all-purpose gardens dotting the landscape of her country home!)
